MASON ALLEN HAND SPLINT
  • Immobilizes either hand in position of function following fracture or infection
  • Helps prevent contracture in burn cases
  • Conforms to convexity of forearm; molded cup fits palmar concavity and heel of palm

This is a universal hand splint, fitting either the right or left hand. Its design enables total immobilization of the hand and wrist to promote healing after a fracture or infection. It is also useful in preventing the skin from tightening or drawing (referred to as contracture) during the healing process from severe burns.

ALUMINUM COLLES HAND SPLINT
  • Perforated for air circulation
  • Radiolucent
  • Optional 1/4 inch foam padding

This HAND splint is designed to provide treatment of fractures that involve breaks of the radius bone (the forearm bone connecting the wrist bones), also known as a "distal radius fracture". The splint is malleable to provide exact positioning and is X-Ray translucent. (X-Rays can "see" through the splint).
