lytle hand splint

LYTLE METACARPAL SPLINT
  • Ideal for metacarpal and phalangeal fractures
  • Epoxy coated aluminum conforms to palm, maintains slight amount of traction

This splint is used when injuries to the metacarpal (hand bones) or phalanges (finger bones) have occurred. The splint is placed inside the hand and the fingers are curved around the outside. This is then wrapped into position, thus immobilizing the hand during the healing process.
